Today Max, myself, and the rest of the Eden Hill Restaurant family are excited to announce we’re tweaking our concept. Beginning September 5, 2019, we’ll exclusively serve tasting menus in our restaurant and limit our services to Thursday - Sunday. Reservations will now be managed through Tock and are currently available on our website; walk-ins will be accepted.
Guests will have the choice between a 5 course ($85) or twelve course ($160) tasting menu, served at both our bar ...and dining room. Within these menus you’ll find nods to Eden Hill Restaurant classics like “Lick the Bowl,” and the pig head “candy bar,” the return of some fun surprises (tattoo, anyone?), and a whole lot of heart & soul.
We opened Eden Hill Restaurant four years ago with a tender twelve item a la carte menu and the gumption of a couple young, entitled millennials. Four years later we’re still here and ready to protect our time and space differently to improve our output.
For most of us, Eden Hill Restaurant will be an occasion where we celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and other major milestones. For the lucky few, Eden Hill Restaurant will be a regular occurrence. We hope it’ll be a place you choose when you want to be delighted, treated, and celebrated. At our core we’re still a neighborhood restaurant and hope having such an ambitious little restaurant in the unassuming 2200 block of Queen Anne Ave is as charming to you as it is to us.
Our sister project Eden Hill Provisions (1935 Queen Anne Ave) will absorb many of our a la carte menu favorites, like cauliflower “chilaquiles” and the Waldorf salad. Serving weekend brunch, weekday lunch, and dinner nightly, Provisions is where we hope to catch many of our guests with more frequency. With a dining room seating for 28, a 6-seater bar, patio with fire pit (and if I get my way, some fun swings!), we hope Provisions will serve as a hub of the neighborhood. We’re targeting a September opening, date to be finalized as more decisions are made.
